The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home - Harold B Lee
The reveal you have all been waiting for! This has been such a fun project to do, the kids are using it everyday and this is what it looks like when they go to bed. I know most lego areas you see are minus all the creations, but I wanted to show it in all its glory! The kids not only made all the creations they got to go to The Container Store and pick out all the things for the space!
How is it February already? The kids look forward to any holiday thats coming up, and Valentines Day is a fun one! They wanted to make a little bakery in their playhouse, so that is what we did! Of course Rosie had to be in the photo too!
We have had legos for years. Our trusty lego table that was an Ikea hack we did many years ago has held up well.. but we needed more room and a bigger storage area for their creations! We went out and got the supplies and we were ready to tackle this project! Follow along as I let you know the supplies we used and how it came together! Make sure to stay around for the end on how we made our first table!
We take decorating serious around here, even in our camper! The kids had so much fun decorating the tree, putting lights up and goofing off for these photos! Our camper has gotten so much love, and while we dont use it in the winter we count down the days! Hopefully these photos will inspire you that you can decorate any space no matter how big or small. Make sure to read down to the end for a fun twist on when we took these photos… it goes to show social media isnt always what it seems!
Its sunny in Seattle, we have not got any snow but are wishing for it! While we normally get a lot of rain in the winter, its been mild. Thankfully we are able to enjoy our deck year round with our covered pergola. I will go into details on another post how we transformed our whole space, but for now I will just show you how we decorated it for Christmas/Winter.
Today I wanted to go over one of the most asked questions I get, and thats “How do you organize your kitchen? ” (We will save how much our remodel cost and all the details for another day.) I want to start off by saying, this is how our kitchen is, I didn’t stage it and somethings I am sure can be better, but this is real life and of course it does get messy and empty and we clean and refill! Now lets get ready for a tour!
It’s our favorite time of the year, the kids were beyond excited to decorate their playhouse for Christmas. We didn’t know what theme we were planning on, so we headed over to JOANN to see what all they had. I found the cutest neutral decor for it, but its their playhouse so I let them choose and they wanted traditional. At JOANN they had such great selections, so make sure to follow along to see it all, along with all the sources at the bottom. We also did a fun DIY, thats so easy for anyone, and don’t forget to see what tree we decorated …the kids decided to go big or go home!
Today I am going to be sharing with you how I made this easy DIY Hanging Advent wreath using my Cricut Explore Air 2 machine in the color Cobalt, which is exclusive to JOANN. I am so excited to write this post, because I will be honest I don’t love to try new things. I was so nervous and I just went for it. I am such a visual person and the videos that Cricut have able made it a breeze, I was able to do two projects effortlessly!
How is your Christmas shopping going, are you ready? I am almost done, but working on those last few people… you know the hard to shop for! I visited The Container Store and so many of you loved seeing all those stocking stuffers and gift ideas for those who are as easy and all the amazing things that you never knew you needed. I am making it easy for you by sharing my favorite finds that I found! Don’t forget your wrapping supplies while you are at it, I even did a whole blogpost on that too.
I love Christmas time, while its so fun to get caught all up in it sometimes simple is best! With my decor that is what I try to do year round, and we continued with the holidays… as long as you don’t count to many trees as being to much. I wanted to cozy up our dining room, so that is what we
