The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home - Harold B Lee
I love fall. I don’t think I can pin point one single thing because its everything that comes with it. The leaves changing, the cozy clothes and blankets, apple cider, pumpkin patches … the list goes on! Today I want to show you how to make your backyard cozy for fall. If you live somewhere rainy like me, the pillows just stay out when we are enjoying it.
Our family room has been through so many seasons, and what I mean is that it has been fun to see where we started and how far its came. Just last year I partnered with Bed Bath & Beyond, and I am so grateful to partner with them again for this space! If you check out the other blog post you can see it has come a long way… but lets look where we started then I will be showing you our Simple Fall Living Room Decor.
I am so excited to share with you how we finished our pantry organization! Last year we worked on the other side of it, our “baking pantry” with Bed Bath & Beyond, and this time we are working on it with them again too! I was so happy with how well it has held up and loved all the products we chose, so I thought it was a perfect fit! Honestly, it’s not some grand big pantry but its quite the upgrade of what we had before and we make use of every inch! I hope this will give you some inspiration and ideas of what you can do in your space.
I have got asked a lot lately how to add fall to different spaces in your home, and today I am going to share with you how I decorated my mudroom and give you all the sources! The number one question we get, is how we built this mudroom entry way space and I have all the details for you when you go to this post. Now lets get started on where I look for decor, and the final view! Read on to the end for the giveaway and a fun new book my friends launched!
This summer we were suppose to take off of doing projects, but if you have followed along you know they never end… I always think of some grand new idea to make spaces better! Our backyard has been a never ending project, but one project led to putting in a new fence then tearing out all our grass, taking down a tree, leveling our backyard, reseeding it and making a new space including this privacy screen. Well that was all done, and it left the other side that wasn’t finished looking just that - not finished. Today I am going to share with you where we started, how far we have come and then let you see how 7 + DIYS transformed our backyard space.

I love real plants and flowers, but changing them out each season and having them for such a short time, I like to use faux flowers that I can switch out and use year after year! I love finding faux florals at JOANN, they have such a great selection for each season. Here I just added in faux marigolds into my window boxes its such an easy DIY and I will show you as we go through each photo along with my other fall front porch decor.
Living in the Pacific North West has its advantages, like the gorgeous views, mild weather, and the amazing places to explore! One thing that is no surprise is the rain, and while its great for all plants… its not so great on outdoor furniture. I asked you all what your favorite was, and the overwhelming response was Polywood. I fell in love with a dining table set, and chaise loungers at Overstock and even more Polywood’s story. I am going to share with you not only how I styled the set, but all about why we chose it.
Here it is!! My moody bedroom reveal - can you believe it a color?? Well, I knew when I found this GORGEOUS bedding from The Company Store that I needed to change things up! Last summer we ordered new bedding for our camper, and are spoiled every time we use it… so it made sense to add it in here. When National S’more day comes around we don’t mess around! Honestly I think one of our favorite things about summer is s’mores, probably because its so easy to do anywhere and it reminds us of camping. This year I have fallen in love with charcuterie boards so naturally I made one filled with all our favorite s’more essentials! What is your favorite combination of s’mores?
