The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home - Harold B Lee
I think of myself as a very organized person, and in our home the rule is if we have something it has to have a place for it to go! Well, its been two years since we redid our kitchen and our baking pantry that I have dreamed of is a hot mess. Spring cleaning is the perfect time to get everything in order! I am so excited to show you the process of how I redid our pantry using Bed Bath & Beyond .ORG line . Are you ready for the BEFORE?
Hi friends! Before summer rolls around, I wanted to show you some spring touches in my home and soon you will see all the changes in the future posts to come! One thing that will be sticking around is my lavender it is perfect for spring and summer and I can't get enough of it.
When we first started our laundry room/mudroom remodel, we had these grand plans of doing a great built in with tons of storage. Then it came to the time to do it and all we could see is $$$ signs. We opted out for a quick solution that was under $100! It looked great, and held some of our "stuff" but it wasn't practical. Fast forward a year....we were hanging out in our kids room, and all of a sudden I had this moment where I realized we could do an Ikea Hack and get what we were looking for! Naturally, that night I moved stuff around... listed everything I could for sale so I could start on my project! Everything sold... and it was time to begin!
Do you ever have these big dreams for a space, but then your budget doesn't allow it? When we designed this space I wanted a nice farmhouse sink ... but we were over budget and had to do what we could do to make the space work! So we did a little DIY and this is what it looked like! Want to see the before photos and an easy step by step!
Christmas is over, and its a New Year but its never to late to finish on Goals you had! I wanted to share this tour of my home, not only for you to be able to see but to be able to look back in the future and have it as a reminder to see how much I have grown! It is always so hard to take down Christmas, you would think I would be sick of it since it has been up since after Halloween! I don't know if it was the fact that I truly loved my decor, or that I snuck out on a vacation... either way it was hard but putting it up stresses me out and I like to have it done before the New Years so I can start fresh and happy!
Baking Christmas cookies brings back so many memories of my childhood, and it has been so nice to be able to continue the tradition with our kids! While the recipe may not be the same ( those were a little crunchy for me) I will be sharing the one we use! I am excited to share with you not only our favorite cookie recipe but all the things we love in the kitchen, plus a few tips I learned along the way! ( If you have been following me you know I am very new to baking/cooking - so come learn along with me!
Thank you so much for stopping by my Christmas Cottage Home Tour! I have joined some talented ladies to show you into our homes! As I write this... I have my favorite movie "The Holiday" playing in the background and it always reminds me of Christmas. I love the warm and cozy cottage in the movie, and thats what I dream for my home to feel like! Today I will show you how I have tried to encompass that feeling.
I am so excited to bring to you a Christmas Home Blog Hop to give you some inspiration this holiday season! I am working with such a talented group of friends again that brought you the last Fall Blog Hop, so make sure to click on all their links at the end of this tour!
I love being able to give a glimpse into each room in our house, and today you will see our bedroom all ready for fall! While this room maybe one of the smallest in our home it is surely the coziest and filled with so much love. You will see the pretty photos, and while it may look that way for part of the day... you will typically find 4 kids and a dog , playing, watching a movie, or hiding under the covers.
Helping to make your house a home one room at a time.
