The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home - Harold B Lee
It’s our favorite time of the year, the kids were beyond excited to decorate their playhouse for Christmas. We didn’t know what theme we were planning on, so we headed over to JOANN to see what all they had. I found the cutest neutral decor for it, but its their playhouse so I let them choose and they wanted traditional. At JOANN they had such great selections, so make sure to follow along to see it all, along with all the sources at the bottom. We also did a fun DIY, thats so easy for anyone, and don’t forget to see what tree we decorated …the kids decided to go big or go home!
Today I am going to be sharing with you how I made this easy DIY Hanging Advent wreath using my Cricut Explore Air 2 machine in the color Cobalt, which is exclusive to JOANN. I am so excited to write this post, because I will be honest I don’t love to try new things. I was so nervous and I just went for it. I am such a visual person and the videos that Cricut have able made it a breeze, I was able to do two projects effortlessly!
How is your Christmas shopping going, are you ready? I am almost done, but working on those last few people… you know the hard to shop for! I visited The Container Store and so many of you loved seeing all those stocking stuffers and gift ideas for those who are as easy and all the amazing things that you never knew you needed. I am making it easy for you by sharing my favorite finds that I found! Don’t forget your wrapping supplies while you are at it, I even did a whole blogpost on that too.
I love Christmas time, while its so fun to get caught all up in it sometimes simple is best! With my decor that is what I try to do year round, and we continued with the holidays… as long as you don’t count to many trees as being to much. I wanted to cozy up our dining room, so that is what we
Its my favorite time of the year, and how is it here already? I have been enjoying getting all my decorations out, and finding some new. Something we look forward to all year is when the seasons change, and it’s Christmas time. We love to turn the music on, grab our favorite pajamas from The Company Store and get ready to decorate cookies and gingerbread houses! We have a lot of traditions and this one is a favorite!
I will be honest, I have never been a fan of Thanksgiving and said I would never make a turkey. Well, today I went against everything I ever said and thought, and made my first turkey! Now lets get to how this all came about.
I saw on Hickory Farms site that they had a Premium Thanksgiving Dinner, and I thought wow that sounds amazing for someone like me who hosts but doesn’t really love the mess and chaos of it. I ordered online and soon after my package arrived, all ready for me to heat up!
Its time to grab a hot cup of cocoa, get in some cozy clothes and turn on your favorite Christmas music or movie. Now let’s get ready to wrap! Today I am going to share with you my favorite holiday wrapping essentials from The Container Store along with some tips and tricks I have for wrapping, and hiding my presents!
My goal for our home is to be cozy, I want each room to be welcoming. We have changed this room quite a bit over the last year, but something wasn’t quite right. This room used to be a garage, after it was transformed the room is always a lot cooler and sometimes not a place where you want to sit and enjoy ( unless you have a million blankets on). I found the perfect solution an Electric Fireplace, this amazing one is from Bed Bath & Beyond and all I can think is why didn’t we do this sooner! I love this fireplace because it has the real flame look, it puts off great heat and its gorgeous!
I am so excited to join some of my favorite bloggers to share our Halloween decor with you! You will get lots of inspiration, each one is so different and there are some fun DIYS too!
