How to make your backyard cozy for fall

Sharing is caring!

I love fall. I don’t think I can pin point one single thing because its everything that comes with it. The leaves changing, the cozy clothes and blankets, apple cider, pumpkin patches … the list goes on! Today I want to show you how to make your backyard cozy for fall. If you live somewhere rainy like me, the pillows just stay out when we are enjoying it.

I knew when I got this “ I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers” sign that it was meant for this space! I envisioned this whole space and so grateful that we were able to transform it this summer! If you remember where we started it has come a long way in just a short time.

Here is a little before and after for you. I just love seeing this and I hope you do to, you can see more of the before on this blog post.

I love these rich colors of fall, I typically stick to the neutral but they sucked me in!

Mums are always a favorite, add some faux pumpkins or real and you are set!

Pillows always make a space cozy, and these from With Lavender and Grace are a favorite!

This is Daisys favorite spot, even more with pillows and the fire pit on!

I still pinch myself when I see this view, just a few months ago it looked like the photo on the right what a difference!

I never showed the view of the deck, honestly because its been a hot mess till now. Let me show you over the next few photos what we have done.

Here is my new view, and yes I am in love! We redid this space with The Home Depot and ever since then I cant get enough of it!

Eek a sneak peek of the stairs if you are seeing this, you will see me talking about painting them in my stories soon!!

Now back to the fire pit, we redid this space with Bed Bath & Beyond this summer and the fire pit and sectional are from there.

If we aren’t inside we are out here enjoying the fire.

S’mores we love them year round, its nice having two areas where we can enjoy them! I did a whole post on how we did s’more charcuterie board if you check out this post.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this space, I have tutorials coming after the new year but ask me any questions below!
